Photonics 1010 — Introduction to Fiber Optics
This course presents optical wave-guides and fibers as well as fiber optics telecommunication. The course covers basic fiber optics components and active devices such as detectors for fiber optic systems, isolators, attenuators, circulators, couplers, cables, connectors, switches, pump lasers, transmission systems, repeaters and electrical/optical conversion.Course Modules
