Mike, Tom would like to RSVP for Thursday’s dinner[1] and also set up a meeting to talk with you. Please let me know your availability and also if you need a speaker at one your monthly functions, Tom would be glad to speak. Deborah Deborah Torres got tom? I suppose I should mention that I’ve been an admirer of Adam’s speaking skills and principles for about a year now, since we of the LPNM first heard of him. Then-State Chair Ken Cavanaugh had spoken with him about running on the Libertarian Party ticket at that time. I went to his house in Santa Fe in June 2009 for an organizing meeting.[2] I went to his Independence Day event at Santa Fe College in 2009 — that was where he made the official declaration to run for Congress as a Republican (about 12:15 AM on the 5th, actually). I was the one who got him scheduled as a guest on Hemp TV in August 2009. I wasn’t exactly surprised when Mullins jumped into the Republican primary against Adam — the GOP has a history of running primary challenges against libertarian-leaning Republicans; they’ve been doing this with Ron Paul for twelve, fourteen years now. So when one of his campaign staffers volunteers him as a speaker for the Bernalillo County LP, well . . . . I wasn’t really against Mullins as I was FOR Adam. But then Mullins decided to do that interview with Cassy Fiano and join the smear campaign against Adam. With that decision, Mullins slit his own throat as far as I’m concerned. I admit that I leapt to supporting Adam on a bit of blind faith on Ken Cavanaugh’s say-so. But whatever fears and reservations that I had were wiped out after talking with Adam on 21 June 2009 at the organizational meeting — I had asked him where he stood on the issue of marijuana. He responded by saying that he approached the issue from the vantage of self-ownership. BINGO! — Hole in one! bomb gun firearm steak knife Allah Aryan airline hijack

GOT ADAM!
Another PLOP! into one of my inboxes — this time, it was into the one that I maintain for the Bernalillo County Libertarian Party[1]:- After the Cassy Fiano interview, I had put “@mullinsforcongress.com” into my mail filters in Mozilla Thunderbird, and set the filter to delete the relevant traffic without me ever having to see it. I had forgotten to do that with the BCLP email address, and thus . . . PLOP!
- I got lost on the way up from Albuquerque, had to call Bill Koehler after arriving in Santa Fe, as Google Maps gave me bad directions.

What was the first CD you ever bought?
~ 11:30 AM MST hours ago by AnonymousThe absolute first? I have no idea, but it was probably something by Metallica, Iron Maiden or W.A.S.P.

If Morris Dees really cares about racially-based violence as much as he professes, why isn’t he suing the SEIU on behalf of Kenneth Gladney?
- Re: Congressional Candidate Barela Shows Solid Grasp of Health Care Situtation
The third-party system goes all the way back to FDR — employment-related “benefit” plans offered in lieu of cash, as those plans aren’t taxed as a bigger pile of FRNs would be.
If these plans are truly a “benefit,” then why does the employee have to pay for it?
Still, Barela is light-years ahead of Heinrich on this issue.

Nothing wrong with a free dating site per se — better than the pay-for-use dating sites. What kind of funny stories do you want? What’s off-limits here?
- Re: Back to the Basics to Fix Education?
These are nice ideas, but our schools are not designed to effectively educate children. They’re socialistic in nature and seem to exist for the benefit of the teachers’ unions and bureaucrats.
They teach the kids how to lie, cheat, steal, sneak around, assault and batter people, and commit other crimes. While the kids are learning those life skills, they might learn other things, like reading, writing, mathematics, and science.
