    Comments I’ve posted

    1. Re: Gary Johnson’s Libertarian Leap Could Complicate New Mexico in 2012

I fully expect that Rove & Co will pull out all of the rhetorical stops by saying anything and everything they consider necessary to kill off the Paul campaign – just like the GOPNM machine did to Adam Kokesh back in 2010.

    2. Re: Gary Johnson’s Libertarian Leap Could Complicate New Mexico in 2012

This is akin to August, 2004, when Rove said of New Mexico:

Get Nader on down there. We can’t have those pissant libertarians costing us the state.

So rather than run candidates who actually have a chance of attracting the libertarian vote, the GOP machine types would prefer to run any libertarian types out of the GOP if there’s a1 neocon or theocrat available. When that’s all done, they still solicit time, cash and effort from libertarians, and label those libertarians who tell them where to stick their solicitations as “losertarians” and “libtards.”

    3. Posted to the New Mexico Grassroots for Gary Johnson 2012 Facebook group –

All New Mexico’s gubernatorial term limits mean is that a person can only serve as governor for two consecutive terms at a time. Gary could have run for Governor in 2010 if he had been so inclined then.

It’s like getting Tabasco in the eye, only several times worse.

    Notes from Life, Etc.

    1. A few minutes after midnight, a strange dog showed up on my front porch. I was able to contact the owners at about 12:45 AM. Turned out the dog had wandered here from the vicinity of Unser and Dellyne NW – that’s a distance of about two miles, while dodging drunk drivers. At around 1:30 AM, the owners came and picked her up.
