Yesterday I found out that the CNM Photonics program is in danger of being killed off for at least a year, due to problems with the administrative people who are supposed to support the program. This is really frustrating -- I had planned on taking enough courses to complete the degree program. Luck -

My laptop is down again -- won't even boot up this time. Really pisses me off, as I basically live from it -- all of my files, notes, etc., are on its hard drive. ARGH. Really MUST put more of my stuff online so I can get to it without being dependent on one machine. -
